Fillings in Temple City, CA

What are fillings?
When there are cavities or minor tooth fractures, fillings can be put in to restore the tooth’s natural shape and function. There are two types of fillings, direct and indirect. Direct filling procedures are more simple and basic, and are commonly made from a durable form of plastic. Indirect fillings include inlays and onlays, which are considered when there is not enough tooth structure to support for a filling, but not extensive enough for a crown. The material can be made from porcelain, gold, or composite resin.
